JCU continues its collaboration with Vote From Abroad (VFA) to facilitate student voting for the U.S. midterm elections this fall. In past elections, only 10% of American abroad students registered to vote, according to VFA.

A group of students started the first JCU Board Game Club this fall as an opportunity for the community to socialize and meet new people—especially for more introverted students. The club’s goal is establishing a “sanctuary from the stresses of student life.”

Starting this semester, the club Interfaith Alliance  reemerges from the need for an outlet of religious diversity that was missing in the JCU community, according to Club President Addison Hollomon, senior International Affairs major.

A weekend trip outside of Rome organized by JCU’s Athletic Department for October was canceled a week before, due to very few sign-ups from a list of 110 student athletes playing this year. Organizers and Basketball Team members comment on the news.
