Ave atque Vale

I was wandering in these crowded streets, in the multitude, source of loneliness; where life starts, ends and easily repeats. And there I found you, in the quiet mess; your eyes felt like the most tender caress, still waiting for me on the other shore. You’re not here, yet I need to confess that you have not vanished, just gone before:

together in life, but in love forevermore.

Sometimes, when I leave people’s words behind, in regrets and shame, I keep getting lost: I lock myself in my miserable mind and there I see the soul I loved the most, dancing in the shadows; abandoned ghost I will never get tired of missing you— even though, I’m still unsure at what cost.

We will meet again, I know that is true, but, for now, rest in peace my love. Good night, Adieu!
