Dear readers of the Matthew,
Every now and then, life offers us moments of reflection, of pause, where we find ourselves looking back with gratitude and forward with hope. Today is one of those moments, as we prepare to bid farewell to some of the most precious members of our team. It’s a moment of transition, a moment to contemplate endings with a mixture of nostalgia and acceptance, and to celebrate the new beginnings that await us.
In the years spent together here at the Matthew, we have shared much more than just articles and news. We have shared dreams, hopes, challenges, and successes. We have learned that the strength of our newspaper lies in our unity, in our ability to work together, to support each other, and to grow as a family. Every moment, every word written and shared, has contributed to shaping our identity as a team, and as individuals.
Now, as we prepare to bid farewell to those who have steered this ‘ship’ with determination and dedication, it is right to pause for a moment and reflect on what they have meant to us. It is right to thank each of them for their extraordinary contribution, for their commitment and passion that have made Matthew what it is today.
