Silent Eyes and Blind Words

To heal bleeding words,

I look for stitches.

To each its function;

Mouths shall speak,

Eyes shall see.

Yet voices are unheard

By silent eyes

And blind words

Because one function

Is not enough

For those who are often told

shut up.

Then I shall train

My eyes to speak

And my words to see,

So that my voice

Will be heard

Telling a story

Of grief and hope.
